ASIAN CAUCUS
The Asian Caucus is a network of women's organizations that coordinates
regional participation to the United Nations Commission on the Status of
Women (CSW) meetings. The Asian Caucus has also initiated preparations
for the five-year review of the implementation of the BPFA.

Naripokkho
A women's network at the grassroots level, its activities ranges from
local-level constituency building to national level coalition building
and participation in international discussion on these issues. It monitors
government policies on violence against women, and participates in government
advisory committees. The network lobbies for the adoption of a pilot research
program on urban and rural violence.

(WMC)
WMC is the primary NGO on Cambodia addressing women's issues through
the media. WMC has close links with local and international NGOs, especially

Kajian Wanita Women's Studies Program

Beijing-Japan Accountability Caucus
(Beijing-JAC)
Analyzes published government documents concerning women, meets and
lobbies with the Office of Gender Equality on the issue of instituting
a ministry of women's affairs, and enacting new legislation regarding violence
against women. Lobbies women parliamentarians for the creation of a special
committee on women to deal with implementation plans for the Beijing Platform.

Korea Women's Associations United
(KWAU)
KWAU was created to unite the power of women's organizations working
for women's rights and democracy. It has 31 member organizations representing
the Korean women's movement. KWAU strives to build an equal society free

Gender Resource and Information
Development Center (GRID )
GRID is a non-government agency set up to improve gender information
in LAO P.D.R. It documents relevant gender information and produces country

gender indicators.

WAO is an independent and non-religious organization based in Malaysia.
WAO is a group of paid and voluntary workers working on the issue of violence

Legal Aid and Consultancy Centre
(LACC)
LACC is a non-governmental legal resource organization dedicated to
the protection and promotion of the rights of women and children, and to
uplifting their socio-legal status through a variety of multidisciplinary
activities. The Center explores how law contributes to women's subordination
and how it can serve as an important tool for women's empowerment. It is

Socio-Economic Welfare Action
for Women in Nepal (SEWA)
SEWA is dedicated to the socio-economic upliftment of women and children

Philippine NGO Beijing Score
Board (PBSB)
