International Family Violence Network Created at World Conference on Family Violence in Singapore

More than four hundred delegates from forty countries convened in Singapore from 8 to 11 September at the first World Conference on Family Violence.

A major outcome of the Conference was the creation of an International Network on Family Violence (INFV). More than 150 individual professionals and organizations signed on to participate in the initial first-steps creating the Network.

Results of the Conference include The Singapore Declaration on Family Violence. This consensus document from the delegates will be announced and disseminated worldwide in November.
