Though advanced in towns and cities to some extent women in the very remote and interior areas of HIMALAYAS remain the same as that of 100 years ago.Women in Himalayas are not even provided with basic and primary education. The society is more keen in keeping her busy with her household work and provide no basic amenities. For years together she has to be dominated by the male members that is either by brother, father, husband and son. |
