WENT application and selection timeline

Hi everyone,

I've just done a quick calculation of the timeine for the application and
selection process. I think we need to move on this quickly. Here's my
calculation:

March 28 - Applications out
April 28   - Deadline for applications
April 29 - May 5 - Selection of participants
May 8 - Acceptance letters to be sent to successful applicants
May 15 deadline for confirmation of attendance from participants

Participants need to know if they have been selected a month before the
training for visas etc. 

We can rehash the application letters that we sent to applicants last year.
We will need a description of the tracks for WENT 2000. Cheekay will be
back at work on March 23 and we could ask her to take charge of making all
the announcements. 

What are we to do, fearless leader?
