oops sorry about that Chat. You did post your suggestion in aworc-meet, but I guess there's just a lot of static in our main meeting space i workspace i failed to catch your proposal. But I have re-read the emails related to "organizing the trainers' meeting," and i can see that only you ad SK have voiced out their preference. SK . Chat said: >DATE >My suggestion is to move the trainers' meeting to April 26-30. >Minor point: Would you like to on April 25 (which is a Monday) and end on >the 29th (Saturday) Chat also said: >i'm sorry to be a spoilsport, i thought i suggested that we start on a >monday -- that's April 24 - 28. i will be tavelling on April 30. so if it >is okey with everyone, can we please have the meeting earlier. > SK said: > >DATE > > >My suggestion is to move the trainers' meeting to April 26-30. > > Minor point: Would you like to on April 25 (which is a Monday) and end on > the 29th (Saturday) > April 25 is a Tuesday. anyway I agree to move the meeting to a later date. and I prefer April 26-30. So big girls that we all are, we need to agree asap on a date since other people outside the team but who are attending the meeting will also have to start booking. There seems to be three dates being proposed: (1) April 24-28 (2) April 25-29 (3) April 26-30 I am tempted to put this to a vote, but perhaps we can strike a compromise now. Its a very simple compromise. Can we have the meeting on April 25-29? This way we don't have to use the weekend of 22 and 23 to travel to manila (this is very important specially for those with kids) and this way too Chat will not miss any session of the meeting (although i recognize this is still tight for you Chat). April 25-29 is literally the median of the three proposed dates. So what do you all think? pi villanueva =============================================================== AWORC-TRAIN is the workspace of the Asian Women's Resource Exchange for its training-related initiatives.
