Hello, To get us started... 1. Workspace 2. Content inventory 3. Web stats -- 1. WORKSPACE We need a development space for our working files, builds, schedule. It should be a PHP-enabled webserver with FTP access, available on the Web with password protection. Question for Pi - is the development server at Isis still available? Any suggestions? If not at Isis, we can have space and FTP access on c2o. Let me know what is best. 2. CONTENT INVENTORY A full list of the directory structure, pages and other files, currently on the site. This will be used for flowcharting the site, and as a design reference. It will also give us an idea exactly how much content is hidden away in areas like /bpfa/ so we use the list like a checklist during production. The site map is a good starting point, but we need a full listing of filenames and actual page headings. Example: 3 bpfa/index.html Beijing+5 entry page 3.1 bpfa/pub/front.html Critical Issues 3.1.1 bpfa/pub/sec_c/hea00004.html ADVANCING THE WOMEN'S HEALTH AGENDA IN THE ASIA-PACIFIC REGION 3.1.2 bpfa/pub/sec_c/hea00001.html Gearing up for Cairo+5: Social Reproduction, Reproductive Rights, Sexuality & Gender Rights 3.1.3 etc... 3.2 bpfa/asian_caucus/front.html Asian Caucus Does a list like this exist? Any ideas how to easily produce this kind of list? 3. WEB STATS We review these now, looking for clues and trends re - site traffic - client browsers - referring sites - keywords used in search fields - what countries and domains - any errors - can we see pathways/patterns in the most visited pages - etc. Question for Pi and/or Cheekay - what is the best way to access this information. Do you have this info in text files you can send? Should I approach JCA/Yukika for this? -- Thanks! -jc
